You Never Listen recontextualises our listening experience across our lifetimes. In this hyper-personalised experience, Tilman Robinson interviews you about a song that has stayed with you through the years - from childhood through adolescence to adulthood. You listen to the song together, discussing how your experience of it has changed: from personal taste changing, to learning to understand lyrics, life circumstances changing or any changes in hearing ability. Tilman will then rework the song, creating a personalised remix tailored to your updated listening preferences and experience. The musical work is contained on a USB drive fashioned from a personal object of your choice. This will be the only place where the remix exists.
